FAULT FINDING DEMONSDaniel 6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
6:5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
Mark 7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.
7:2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 26 And this fellow, very staunch, and had been taught in the orthodox Jewish religion, he raised up and said, "Now, looky here, Philip, could there be any good thing come out of a city like Nazareth?" And I think Philip give him the best answer that anybody can: "Come and see." You hear people criticize this and criticize that. Go find out for yourself. That's the way. I'm going to speak on that in a few moments. "Come find out for yourself." So he said, "All right. I'll go with you." And around the hill they come, and they walked up, Jesus praying for the sick. And the Jews all standing there condemning Him, finding fault with Him and… You know if you go to a meeting to find fault with it, the devil will sure anoint you. You can sure find fault. If you go to get the good out of it, God will anoint you. You'll get the good out of it.
27 So there they was all standing there anointed with the devil. The Bible said they was. Jesus said they was. They were anointed with the Ho—with the—the devil, and the believers were anointed with God.

Rev. William Marrion Branham WHEN GOT DRY IN EXPERIENCE HE BECOME A STICKER FINDING FAULT EVERYWHERE 87 Now, we find out that, along this road, after they got like this, they come to a place of Horeb. And H-o-r-e-b, Horeb, then we find out… Let's break that name down. That's where the—the name "Horeb" means, a "dry place" or a "desert." And when we get out of fellowship with one another in the church, and out of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it brings us to a dry place, a desert, nothing alive, everything got stickers on it. See, a—a desert, a little piece of cactus with that sticker on it. Did you know what that is? That's a precious little tender leaf that hasn't had no water; it's just wound itself up so tight till it's a sticker.
And when you see somebody like that, maybe it's a precious soul that could been watered right, would've been a tender little leaf or something. But instead of that, it's wound itself up till it's a sticker, just punching at everything, you know, finding fault. Only thing it needs is just water. That's all. It just—it just needs a—a revival, or a breaking up, a refreshing from the Lord. It'll—it'll unfold its little self, if you'll just put it to the water.
89 But that's where them who live in that place has to suffer with the conditions of that place. And those who desire to live in that kind of an atmosphere of where everything's just punching and fussing, and quarreling and stewing like that, well, you'll just live under that atmosphere; that's all. But we don't have to live there; it's not necessary for us to stay there.
Now, this Horeb was the place where God was discouraged with the people, because they had wandered into this place and had got in this condition. And He brought them right around to it, because that they wouldn't walk in the path. They got off the—the main road, got off over on this side road. And then it caused God to do something that was terrifically. He… Caused God to have Moses to take the judgment rod that he had judged the nation with and smite the Rock to bring forth water.

Rev. William Marrion Branham NINE OUT OF TEN, ONE FINDING FAULT IS THE ONE NOT RIGHT
90 Amongst a lot of people we find, where emotions and so forth, there becomes tattlings, and backbitings, and all kind of ungodly things. Brother, that's sulfuric acid in the church; it's demon power. Spirit of men and women who get among one another and try to push off and say, "This one's not right, and this one's not right, and that's not right." If you'll chase it down, nine times out of ten, it's the very person making the stir that's not right. Amen.
God hates discord among brethren. Be reverent. Be holy. Love God. Stand by Him. And as long as you know your life is divvying up with the Bible with purity of heart, purity of thought, love towards your brother, trying your best to upbuild the Kingdom of God and doing those things, dressing right, living right, talking right, going to right places; then you can have all the emotions you want to, and everybody will believe it.
Jesus said, "You're the salt of the earth, if the salt lost its savour, it's henceforth good for nothing but to be cast out and trod under the foot of man." If you're just salt alone, it's no good. But if you got the savour in it, you'd be salty and the world will be thirsty. You get salty; they'll be thirsty. Oh, my.
55-0724 - Enticing Spirits
Rev. William Marrion Branham IF YOU COME TO CRITIZE, DEVIL WILL SHOW YOU PLENTY TO CRITICIZE 24 She finally arrived at the gate. Now, she didn't come to stay just for one night, or set in and wait till the pastor preached a little bit, and said something was against her theology, and then she'd pick up her hat and go home. That's the modern trend of it. "If I'll go over there… But just let him say one thing that's against our creed; I will get right up…" That shows poor raising to begin with. Then, she said, "I'll—I'll just go in. If—if I don't like the way they conduct the services, I'll take my camels and turn back." Jesus never would've said about her what He did if she had had that attitude. If you come to criticize, the devil's going to show you plenty to criticize. If you come to find fault, the devil's going to show you plenty of fault. But if you come hungering and thirsting for God, the Angels of God will direct you to the spot to find it.
59-0405E - The Queen Of Sheba
Rev. William Marrion Branham FAULT FINDER IS THE SPIRIT OF MAKE BELIEVER 186 Now that is what? The believer; now the unbeliever; now the third class, we're speaking about, is the make-believer. That's the boy, the make-believer! Now, remember, in there stood all three. Now, we find now, they do just exactly like their father does, Judas. There was Peter and the rest of the apostles, believers. There was the seventy, unbelievers.
187 And there was Judas, hung right on, he was a make-believer. What do they do? This is the kind that holds on until they can find something, a fault in It. They are looking every time to find a loophole, see how it's done, see if it's a trick, if it's a gimmick. They're waiting to be sold out. They're looking for that.
188 The unbeliever, he don't even wait around. He's condemned It, and walked out.
189 The believer, no matter what happens, he believes It, anyhow, for It's the Word. There is your three classes. 190 The old unbeliever will walk out, on the first thing that's said, he don't like about it. Brother, he's going to throw his colors right then. He's an unbeliever.
63-1124E - Three Kinds Of Believers
Rev. William Marrion Branham
68 Now let's take a make-believer. It was Judas. He was the make-believer. And the make-believer hangs on and on, trying to find some way that they can get something on It. They stick around long enough just to find out if they can't find a little fault, then go out and expose it somewhere. "We want to find what kind of a gimmick, what rabbit foot you got that rubbed behind your ears. What is the gimmick?" so they can impersonate It, or something. That's make-believers. That's Judas-tarian.

Rev. William Marrion Branham PHARISES ALWAYS FIND FAULT TO BELITTLE JESUS And now in this, upon His Word, so I know that Brother Sink, Brother Neville or one of you ministers, usually preach. And just being here with you, you'll pardon me, I'd just like to speak to you a little bit on this manner.
129 Now I want to take a subject here of: Taking Sides With Jesus. The Pharisees and leaders of His day always tried to belittle Him before the people. That was just a way that the devil had of working. All the Pharisees and the teachers of His day constantly tried to belittle Jesus. They, all the throw-off that they could give to Him, they done it. They watched Him, constantly, to find where they could find a fault. And they never spoke of His good things. They were always finding something that they could belittle Him about, and say, "You see, looky here. If He was man of God, He wouldn't do it this a way." Or, "If He was a man of God, He wouldn't do it that way." They were trying to cast a shadow upon Him, to get the people to disbelieve Him. That's the work of the devil. And that old scheme has never ceased.
62-0601 - Taking Sides With Jesus
Rev. William Marrion Branham
142 So, the people tried, them Pharisees, and Sadducees, and hypocrites, and Herodians, and all tried to cast a shadow on Jesus. But them true believers that was predestinated to hear that Message, heard It and seen no fault in It at all.
143 Same now. Those who believe Him, love Him. Those who believe Him, see no fault in Him. They don't see any heresy. They don't see anything wrong. They don't see anything wrong with His Word. They don't see anything wrong with His people. They just see Jesus. That's all. They, they're—they're predestinated to Eternal Life, so they just take sides with Jesus and stay there.

Rev. William Marrion Branham SOME GO TO THE CHURCH TO FIND FAULT WITH THE CHURCH 39 But those who knew John, those who believed him, they went out to see something that was real. There it divides today, as it was then, in three different classes: the world, the church, and the real true believer. That's the way the world stands today: the world, the unbeliever; the church, the lukewarm member; and then the real true believer.
Some people go out into churches to find fault with that church. And some people go out to be a social standing, or what they would think a better class, or a get-together. Others go out to find peace, go to find God and something real. That's the one that gets the benefit of the meeting.
I've always said that the Gospel produces three types of people: the unbeliever, the make-believer, and a believer. And it's always been that way. It just depends on what you go for, the attitude that you have.

59-1001 - What Went Ye Out To See?
Rev. William Marrion Branham SPIRIT OF FAULT FINDER MAKES PEOPLE FINDING FAULT IN THE PREACHING INSTEAD OF TRYING TO LISTEN AND LEARN, THEY ONLY LISTEN TO REFUTE (COUNTER) OPOSITE VIEW John 9:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
The attitude of this age is exactly what it was then. People have it all. They know it all. They cannot be taught. If a point of truth from the Word comes up and a man tries to explain his view to one with an opposing view, the listener is not at all listening that he might learn, but is listening only to refute what is being said. Now I want to ask a fair question. Can Scripture fight Scripture? Does the Bible contradict the Bible? Can there be two doctrines of truth in the Word that say the opposite or oppose the other?
NO. IT CANNOT BE SO. Yet how many of God's people have their eyes open to that truth? Not even one percent, as far as I know, have learned that ALL Scripture is given by God and ALL is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, etc. If all Scripture is thusly given, then every verse will dovetail if given a chance. But how many believe in predestination unto election and reprobation unto destruction?
Those who don't, will they listen? No, they will not. Yet both are in the Word, and nothing will change it. But to learn about it and reconcile the truth of those doctrines with other truths that seem to oppose, they will not take the time. But they stop their ears, and gnash with their teeth, and they lose out. At the end of this age a prophet will come, but they will be blind to all that he is doing and saying. They are so sure they are right, and in their blindness they will lose it all.
An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages (CAB Ch 9 - The Laodicean Church Age)
Rev. William Marrion Branham IT LED YOU TO SIN AGAINST GOD 34 Now listen, as we go ahead. And I want to get the last part of it. And to whom he sware that they should not enter into his rest,… Now, there's where we're coming to, tonight. … into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter… because of unbelief.
35 Now, what is sin? Unbelief. God had come to them, in a Pillar of Fire; sent His prophet, and anointed him, give him signs to do before the people. And then the Pillar of Fire, by the prophet, led them out. Every circumstance they come to, they begin to murmur and say every little fault they found with Moses, begin to chide and chatter against Him. And God was displeased, because He said, "They were sinning."
36 They should have listened. But, instead of that, they listened to reason, "How can it be? How can these things be?" If He is God, everything is possible. And He will make all things work together for good to them that love Him.
57-0901E - Hebrews, Chapter Four
Rev. William Marrion Branham
68 Then you don't criticize the others. You don't find fault with your pastor, and with all the other… The women that talks this way, you pity them and pray for them. You're coming God's provided approach then. See? What if Christ had found so much fault in you He wouldn't have died for you? But, see, He was God's approach to—our approach to God through Him. You get it?
55-0123A - The Approach To God
Rev. William Marrion Branham WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR FAULT, DEVIL WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET IT 58 Now, if you expect, that's what you receive. If you've come to the meeting saying, "Well, I'm going down… I'm just going to—I'm going to find some flaws of that meeting. I'll find some flaws of that preacher. I'll bet you I can." Don't worry, you'll get it. The devil will show you plenty of them. Yes, sir.
You'll go back, say, "Mm, hmm. Just as I expected. That's just the way it was. Uh-huh." Same group found fault with Jesus when He went through the pool of Bethesda and all those cripples laying there, lame, halt, blind, and withered. Passed by every one of them, never healed any of them, went over and healed a man laying on a pallet, walked away. Them Jews, "Uh-huh, now if He's the healer, let Him heal them." See?
59 Just as you expect, that's what you get. But you come to the meeting expecting to see the glory of God moving, the power of God, sinners being saved, filled with the Holy Ghost, sickness being healed, then watch what God shows you. Yes, sir.
See, you are a creator in yourself. If you're… How many's borned-again say, "Amen?" [Congregation says, "Amen."—Ed.] Do you know each one of you is a creator? You are a part of God; you're a son of God, an offspring of God, a daughter of God. Is that right? Then you are a creator.
Now, did you ever see people, they were nice people (I ain't saying this for any back now.), nice people but you just couldn't hardly stand to be around them. You know that. Nice people, it's their atmosphere they're in. Then you've seen other people that you just long to be with them, is that right? It's that atmosphere that's around them all the time.
